Looking at your excellent site is as staring at our country's sorroundings. Just a sugestion, I think it would be a plus point if the site may also provide information on birding trips around the world. The country, with over 17.000 islands, makes this "island nation" the fourth richness country in the world, in terms of numbers of bird species (1.539 – 17% of the world’s total) and the first in species endemism. One of islands that support Indonesian bird species richness is West Papua Province (Irian-Jaya). Birding Irian-Jaya is what known as birding in paradise. Today, the most recommended Indonesian birding operator is Papua Bird Club for its astonishing birding experiences in handling and providing the most reliable and updated birding trips as well as report/records on birds from the field.

I'm living now in Istanbul. I didnt read all the info on your site, but I hope you make it clear that tourists should NOT bring American Express Traveler's Checks and expect to cash them. There is only one bank in Istanbul (Akbank) in Taksim that accepts them and only one teller who will cash the checks. She comes and goes at her leisure. Expect to spend at least half of a day trying to cash your checks, if you can cash them.

I was born in Lithgow and have read bent backs (a gift from my Nan) who still lives there today, I love reading the rich history of Lithgow and surounding areas. It's a shame the town has lost so much history. It's also good that people are preserving whats left. Great place to visit, toooo cold to live there.
